From Earth, it looks as if there is a man in the Moon. But up close the moon looks very different. Only twelve people have ever seen it first-hand–twelve astronauts who walked on the Moon and even rode moon cars. From the pictures the astronauts took and the dust and rocks they brought back, we now know a lot about what the Moon is really like. Maybe someday you'll be able to go there and see for yourself!
