Walter was a whale. He was young, but big. He was also full of questions. Most of the time, his mother was patient; but the day Walter discovered land and wanted to go there, she was firm. The answer was NO. This was not the answer Walter wanted. So one day he followed some children to shore. It was exciting. Then it got hot and scratchy. Land was no place for whales, Walter could see that. But when he tried to move, he couldn't. He was stranded. How could he get back to sea?
