This is a "see-the-story" book because the story is in the pictures. It is all about how Pierrot the clown wants Crocodile's doll so much that one evening while Crocodile is napping in the park he just takes it.
Crocodile chases Pierrot all across the town and out into the country. The ending is a surprise, but a nice surprise that I think you will like.
Word identifications for man of the objects and individuals pictured along the way make an entertaining reading game of Crocodile's chase.
