Danny Dunn and the Homework Machine is a 1958 children's science fiction novel by Jay Williams and Raymond Abrashkin, part of the popular Danny Dunn series. The story follows the curious young protagonist, Danny, who uses a powerful computer created by his friend Professor Bullfinch to do his homework. With his friends Joe and Irene, Danny programs the machine to answer questions and complete assignments, but their success is short-lived when the computer is sabotaged. Danny must then figure out how to fix the machine and correct the problem before his teacher discovers the computer and challenges the "Homework Champions."
