This delightful fable tells how Artist Foreman first drew a tiny, ridiculous animal, then, by asking exactly the same question six times, changed it bit by bit into THE KING OF THE BEASTS.
Read this book page by page, and slowly but surely a HUGE LION will appear RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!
About the Printing
The illustrations in this book are chromolithographs, a 19th-century color printing method in which each hue was hand-drawn on a separate stone or plate. The paper was printed multiple times in perfect alignment so the colors built up into a vivid, layered image. This labor-intensive, hand-crafted process gives the artwork a warmth and depth not found in modern printing, making chromolithographs especially prized by collectors.
