Little Red Riding Hood (Fay's Fairy Tales)

Internationally renowned photographer and artist William Wegman, with his weimaraners Fay Ray, Battina, and Chundo, turns his attention to the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Battina brings a bewitching sweetness to her role as the ingenue in the red cloak who is lured away from the route to her grandmother's house by a wolf who cunningly sends her far afield for a special flower "beloved by grandmothers universally."

While Little Red Riding Hood is off busily gathering flowers, the wolf races on ahead to devour Grandmother and to lie in wait for Little Red RIding Hood herself. In the end, grandmother and grandchild are saved by the woodsman, and the wolf gets his just deserts.

With his witty prose and unique visual interpretations, William Wegman has once again taken a classic fairy tale and made it a delight for the child in everyone.
