More Erté Fashion Paper Dolls

Noted illustrator Tom Tierney has painstakingly rendered two dolls (in period bathing attire) and 18 additional costumes from Erté designs. The illustrations are scrupulously faithful to the originals, retaining the vibrant color, exoticism, inventiveness and sly humor that distinguish the work of the legendary Paris-based designer.

Most of the illustrations are fashion designs which appeared in the pages or on the cover of Harper's Bazaar between 1915 and 1925; others date up to 1945. Included are gowns, robes, capes, bathing suits, sporting attire – even and aviation outfit– all meticulously rendered down to the last detail.
