Where the mountains meet the prairie, Rosie Jones is boss of a little ranch and a wonderfully motley crew of cowboys. But while Rosie and her wranglers are away, the dastardly Greasy Ben and his gang arrive with plans to steal her cattle—and soon a rollicking Wild West chase is underway.
Told in jaunty rhyme and filled with Roy Gerrard’s wonderfully detailed watercolor illustrations, this playful western adventure features a fearless ranch boss, enormous cowboy hats, dastardly villains, and plenty of wonderfully dry humor.
