It is a hot summer day and the Bear family decides to go to the beach. They swim and sun themselves on a blanket, but after a while, Baby Bear wants to do something else. He decides to make a cake, but he wonders where he can find flour, milk and eggs at the beach. Papa Bear comes to the rescue of Baby Bear. He whips him up a most unusual cake using a very special brand of flour, milk and eggs, with just a sprinkling of salt from the sea. The cake is not exactly to Baby Bear's taste, and, in a turnabout trick, he outwits Papa Bear at his own game. However, it is Mama Bear who saves the day for both of them.
