The Man

The Man is vintage Briggs. It is the story of an explosive encounter between a man (who or what is he?) and a boy. The boy is at first deeply bewildered – the man is so tiny, just seven inches tall ("I am not tiny! I am the size I am"), so demanding, and so utterly infuriating! But as the days go by, much begins to emerge about both the man and the boy. The conversation takes on a deeper meaning, and the reader, almost an eavesdropper, is drawn into the dialogue to share the emotions – sometimes painfully, sometimes hilariously.
