The Patchwork Girl of Oz is the seventh book in L. Frank Baum's Oz series, published in 1913, featuring the new character Scraps, a living patchwork girl, who joins Ojo the Unlucky and his Uncle Nunkie on a quest to cure Nunkie after he's turned into a stone statue by a magician.
Ojo and Unc Nunkie visit the Crooked Magician, who brings Scraps to life. An accident petrifies Unc Nunkie, and the group sets out to find the ingredients for a cure, which involves a journey to the Emerald City.
