Fifty years ago, The Beatles set off on a magical adventure — and this psychedelic anniversary edition let fans of all ages join the iconic journey.

Far away some  80,000 leagues beneath the sea, lies a colorful land of song and laughter existed — Pepperland, a musical wonderworld where Sgt. Pepper’s Band plays on forever. Until, that is, the music-hating Blue Meanies overrun Pepperland, leaving it a drab, silent wasteland.

But out of the darkness shines a light. Captain Fred manages to escape the Meanies in a yellow submarine and sails to Liverpool, home of The Beatles. Ringo takes pity on him, and with a little help from his friends – John, Paul, and George – they set off on a magical adventure to bring music and love back to Pepperland.
